Birdmonster Ticket Giveaway

birdmonster.jpgAfter personally emailing us to confirm that they won't be detained and given a "special Canadian inspection" at the border, San Francisco's Birdmonster are happy to finally be allowed in our fair land, and will be headlining a show at The Horseshoe this Wednesday, March 28, in support of their latest album No Midnight.

In an ironic twist, Mason Proper was set to be one of the opening acts, but will no longer be on the bill due to their own immigration paper issues. Go figure. However, the fine folks in Canadian bands The Coast and The Visit will be reporting for duty as the supporting acts, and if they mysteriously end up with immigration problems we should really start looking into our system.

Interested in going to the show? Courtesy of Against The Grain, we have five pairs of tickets to give away. To win a pair, just be one of the first five to email carrie@torontoist.com with your full name and they're all yours. Pretty simple stuff.

Show details:
Birdmonster w/ The Coast, The Visit
Horseshoe Tavern
March 28, 2007
$8.50 adv., $10 door

Tickets can be purchased at Rotate This, Soundscapes, The Horseshoe and Ticketmaster.
