With Dancers and Death-core, All For One Low Price

While trolling Craigslist, we came across an intriguing apartment listing. Does your heart belong to the Annex -- home to sushiterias, frat houses, and highbrow cultural elite like Margaret Atwood and Adrienne Clarkson? Move to the neighbourhood, and you too could be closer to a Giller Prize win.

And in the heart of this stylish mecca, we found this beautiful apartment. It's a ground-floor palace in an old heritage building, with two bedrooms, hardwood floors and the price even includes heat and hydro.

But there are a few very minor conditions. For one, you MUST LOVE "loud music and all-night partying." (But hey, who doesn't love those things? Are you some kinda square?) Further caveats include:

Some minor wall damage from previous tenants and the toilet backs up from time-to-time but you wont even notice because the tiles in the washroom are new.

Upper suite rented by two sleazy, bleach-blond exotic dancers and lower suite rented by aspiring death-core and called 'Rotted Remnants'. Super heavy riffs and double kick drums.

There is a strange smell in the kitchen as a preivious tenants cat climbed into the wall and died. No worries though, the thick reefer smell from the Jamaican neighbours will mask it.

All this for a mere $875/month. What a steal!
