Each weekday morning, we pick a recent image from the Torontoist Flickr Pool and feature it here on the site. It's our way to give the many excellent photographers in our pool the attention they deserve!
The appropriation of corporate logos appears to be a popular activity here in Toronto. It was only two days ago that we wrote about a rash of manipulations made to Microsoft Vista ads. Today, the famous Scotiabank world logo gets the Cobra Command treatment.
Torontoist Flickr member smlgphotos (Sean Galbraith) discovered this particular ScotiaSnake at College and Bathurst. We wonder if the mystery logo-manipulator will now go off and add snake appendages to all the major bank logos. We'd like to see a battle-royale showdown between a snake and that Royal Bank lion.
(Those impatiently waiting to see a cobra vs. lion smackdown can skip both "Go" and "the $200" and head directly to this Youtube video.)

It must be the Marxist in Canadians. Why is the flag so red?
Good grief, I can just see some redneck getting a tattoo of the bank logo for his 15 minutes of fame.
Given that this one is about 15 feet up, I'm quite impressed with their ability to do it at all.
Snakes on a Scotiabank...I love it :P
