MuchMusic reports that VJ Sarah Taylor underwent emergency surgery on Thursday morning at a hospital in Las Vegas to relieve pressure on her brain.
25-year-old Taylor remains in an induced coma in the intensive care unit and is reported in stable condition. It is not yet known what caused the pressure on her brain.
The VJ was shooting on assignment at the NBA All-Star weekend when she was rushed to hospital on Wednesday. She had been in Las Vegas since the day before, and the network reportedly has flown her family down to be with her along with a senior CHUM executive.
The popular television personality is the co-host of Much 911, #1s, MuchNews and MuchTakeOver, among others. She's a Hamilton native who was discovered by a MuchMusic floor director during a live MuchOnDemand shoot.

Hope she recovers. I'm not a fan of Much anymore, but Sarah is the only VJ of the newest crop I can even tolerate on the rare occassion I flick by.

Hey Sarah, i wish you all the best that i can offer, ans hope your recovery is great
I was out to dinner at Blowfish last night (Mar 17) and she was there for dinner, looking fine, but a bit low-key. She had a hoodie on and the hood up. I think she might have had to cut some of that trademark hair of hers.
