Then you'll love Lake Ontario Park! At least, that would seem to be a reasonable assumption. However, if you're looking for more reassurance (recommended), the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation (or, NAMBLA) is hosting a public forum on their plans for "Lake Ontario Park," which is to be "one of Toronto's great new park spaces and a defining destination for the city," running from the Portlands (Cherry St. south of the Distillery District) in the west to the RC Harris Treatment Plant at the foot of Victoria Park Ave in the east.

Open House: 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Presentation & Facilitated Discussion: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Radisson Admiral Hotel (Ballroom)
249 Queens Quay West, Toronto
The meeting will also serve to update on the Port Lands Transition Sports Fields, and hopefully give them a more compelling name. It's not yet clear how all these ideas will manage to play nice with the natural gas power plant that's also going in the neighbourhood.
Oh, and p.s., no one tell Kingston we're taxing their park name, ok? They won't take it well, and we've got to stick together on this one.

HAH! That one had me in stitches :)
If we can have parties at this new park, it sounds like a good idea. Otherwise I will continue complaining about the Cherry Beach busts. :(
How is the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation also known as NAMBLA??...North American Man/Boy Love Association...i must be missing something here.
I don't get the joke though -- what's the connection between NAMBLA and TWRC?
Absolutely nothing. Esoteric joke. See:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Daily_Show_recurring_elements#NAMBLA
ahh... thanks chris. i was racking my brain over that one.
If you must make childish jokes, and increasingly it seems that you must, at least you could come up with your own instead of lifting them from a TV show.
I pity the person who did not get the joke, and went to look for the TWRC website using the wrong acronym
Funny - I didn't see a NAMBLA reference, more of a Chinpokomon reference. From South Park episode 310 -
Announcer: Hey, kids. Do you like Chinpokomon?
Boys: Yeah!
Announcer: Well then, you're gonna go wild for [echo comes on as a weird bike is shown] Wild Wacky Action Bike! [a bike with two single-arm handles, one attached to each wheel, and two lumpy side wheels]
Singer: Wild Wacky Action Bike! The bike that's hard to ride!
Announcer: [a boy runs to the bike and hops on, trying to figure out how to steer it] Wild Wacky Action Bike is almost impossible to steer. And look: it glows in the dark!
Singer: Goin' to try to ride all day long, but I'm goin' to fail
'Cause it's Wild Wacky Action Bike!
Boy: [manages to steer it, but runs into some cones] Man. [then steers it well enough down the street]
Singer: You get about in, you get about in Wild Wacky Action Bike!
Boy: Aaaaa-agh! [ends up under a truck. A cloud of steam rushes out on impact]
Announcer: Wild Wacky Action Bike comes with everything you see here. [the boys say nothing for a while, then…]
Cartman: …Gay.
Stan: Yeah, dude. That was totally gay.
Lab Tech 1: Ooh. [writes "GAY" under "Wild Wacky Action Bike" on his "Test Results" pad and underlines it]
