TTC, Joy of Man's Desire

ttcholidayschedule.jpg

Transit Toronto just helpfully reminded us of the TTC's (and pretty every other GTA-based transit systems') updated holiday schedule.

The key things to note for TTC riders: extended peak schedule on Friday the 22nd, Sunday schedule on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (Scarborough riders in particular may want to take note of the change to the SRT's availability on Christmas Eve), Saturday schedule on Boxing Day, and back to regular weekday schedule as of December 27th. The full details, from Transit Toronto:

Friday, December 22: Weekday schedule in the morning and evening; extended early afternoon peak schedule

Saturday, December 23: Saturday schedule

Sunday, December 24: Sunday schedule; The 3 Scarborough rapid transit line will run on its regular Sunday schedule with RT cars. (The TTC had previously scheduled maintenance work that closed the RT on Sundays since October 29 and will close the RT every Sunday from January 7 until February 11, 2007.)

Monday, December 25 / Christmas: Sunday schedule

Tuesday, December 26 / Boxing Day: Saturday schedule

Wednesday, December 27: Weekday schedule

Thursday, December 28: Weekday schedule
