Parliament is set to vote on same-sex marriage. Again. And they’re just voting to see if they want to vote about same-sex marriage. If this gets defeated expect Stephen Harper to introduce legislation to see if Parliament wants to vote about wanting to vote about same-sex marriage.
David Miller wants Toronto to be an environmental leader in years to come. Also he wants Toronto to get more money from the provincial and federal governments. And a pony.

Pickering city councillor tabled a motion last night asking his girlfriend to marry him. However, political opponents pointed out that the motion violated Robert’s Rules of Order, so now they can’t get married. Remember, kids, you violate Robert’s Rules of Order at your peril!
New TTC chairman Adam Giambrone says no fare hike this year. That having been said, passengers will have to pull the trains in slave-teams while being whipped, but Giambrone promises that the Light Whippings Card system will be in place by mid-2008 and it will be very popular.
And the Raptors lost last night. However, even with a .389 winning percentage they’re still only half a game back from the lead in the Atlantic division. Which is sad.
