Live Baby Live - Week of Dec. 11

Alexisonfire_9024

It seems to be the week of Alexisonfire, who are playing just about every venue in the city over the next 7 days, starting on Thursday. We predict a few bruised ribs and black eyes just in time for Christmas...so kids, if you're going to the show(s), be a little gentler to each other knowing that your parents will be pissed if you're posing for the holiday photos with a shiner. This public service announcement brought to you by the old folks at Torontoist.

Best bets for this week include The Lemonheads, tomorrow at Lee's -- as long as Evan Dando can keep his shit together a little better than last time he was here; we also have Sean Lennon, who's almost a spitting image of his dad, at the Opera House on Wednesday, along with Jim Noir (who seems to play here every week). And on Saturday night, get yourself a dose of southern fried rock with White Cowbell Oklahoma. Anything can happen at their shows, and it usually involves a chainsaw, so don't say you weren't warned.

Any other shows that we missed this week? Let us know in the comments.

gee i really wish alexisonfire were playing more shows.

Cobra Starship...really? These jokers actually have the gall to tour their inane bullshit? And charge people Money for it?! There oughta be a law...

Be careful what you wish for...they ARE playing more shows next week. I think it's something like 7 shows in total, and believe it or not, they're all sold out. Crazy.

I pray that that was sarcasm, Jeremy.

sarcasm? here? never.
