Walking in a Whipper-Wonderland...

2006_11_28Whipper.jpg What's the perfect way to combat the inevitable disappointment of your New Year's Eve plans? How about celebrating tomorrow night, instead of December 31st?

It's another wacky event from our friends at Whippersnapper Gallery (587A College): a New Year's masquerade in November. Attendees are required to sport formal attire and, of course, a mask. Your $12 ticket (available at Soundscapes) gets you admission to the event, which includes music ranging from DJs to a live harp performance, and a glass of champagne at midnight. Doors open at 9pm.

Word on the street is that they'll still be displaying the über-cool Jack Dylan posters they've had up the past week or so. And this way, if you make any resolutions, you only really have to keep them for a month.
