Photos From the Meat Packers Fire

Torontoist reader Christopher snapped these photos of that huge fire at a meat packing plant on St. Clair Avenue. The fire started early in the morning Monday and grew into a five-alarm blaze. Firefighters were trying to put it out well into the night.

    I wonder if the fire was just an elaborate escape attempt by one of the inmates (perhaps inspired by infamous cow in Mrs. O’Leary’s barn).
