Happy 10th Birthday Reel Asian Film Festival. Yep next year you enter your preteens and we all know it’s downhill from there until you hit 18 or so.
But that’s next year. This year you’ve done a great job organizing yet another festival. Starting the festival tomorrow night with the North American premiere of the new Patrick Tam film (pictured) Patrick Tam, the guy who probably taught Wong Kar Wai everything he knows.
Asian American musicals, a concert, and a special award to Sook Yin Lee. There just better be a pinata and a birthday cake.
The Reel Asian Film Festival runs from Nov. 15th – 19th. Tickets on sale at each show.
