Giveaway: Les Breastfeeders and Call Me Poupee Tickets

Les Breastfeeders_2998

As if Malajube wasn't enough French awesomeness for one week, this Saturday night brings Les Breastfeeders and Call Me Poupee to the El Mocambo. After this weekend, if you're not speaking perfect French, well, you need to make more of an effort.

Les Breastfeeders may sound familiar to some of you, since they just played the free See Vous Play show a few months back at the Kool Haus, which was put on by our friends at the CBC and Bandeapart. They were definitely a big highlight of the evening, particularly the best tambourine player ever, Johnny Maldoror. If you want to see someone put on a clinic, head on out to the show and watch him go to it.

We'll even make it easy for you. We have a pair of tickets to give away, courtesy of Fusion 3. Want to go? Send an email to carrie [at] torontoist.com and give us your best pick-up line in French. However, it can't be "voulez-vous coucher avec moi." Too easy.

Contest closes Thursday at 3pm, when we'll draw from the best of the pick-up lines. Good luck!

Be sure to check out Les Breastfeeders and Call Me Poupee's Myspace pages (linked above) for quick access to some of their music.
