If you visited Torontoist during the summer, there was no way to avoid 69, a trip through all of Toronto's TTC stations. Over four months, a new photograph was posted (almost) every day, station after station, covering sixty-two kilometers of our city, from Green line, to Blue line, to Yellow line, to Purple line. The photos and resulting essay chronicle two trips in one: an often uninspiring, difficult, and frustrating adventure below Toronto, punctuated by moments—few and far between—of surprising beauty.

The project has since been featured in media as diverse as the National Post, CBC Radio, U of T Magazine, 24 Hours, Metro, Gridskipper, and Spacing's Wire, among others. Until now, however, the photographs have only ever existed online. It's been a long time coming, but prints from 69 are now available for purchase.

Here's how:

1. Pick a photo (or several photos!) that you like from the complete Flickr set—or, save some time and pick from the shots in the selected one.
2. Choose a print size that you'd like below. For those looking to get prints of the photos as true to the originals as possible, it's best to purchase sizes that retain a 3:2 ratio (4" x 6", 8" x 12", and 12" x 18") since they will display the full photograph without any cropping on any side.
3. Send an e-mail to david@torontoist.com with your choices. Then, the real magic (payment! shipping!) begins.

Print Information & Pricing

Prints are available in either matte or glossy finish, and are professionally printed through Pikto for maximum awesomeness. There are no limited runs except for the 12" x 18" prints, each of which is signed and numbered out of 50. All prices include taxes.
