Torontoist Wants These Stickers
This Torontoist works from home but we have sympathy for our readers who commute long distances and often go without sleep. So what can you do? Get to bed earlier? That's for pansies. Sleep on the subway? But what if you miss your stop? Well London commuters can solve their problems with these stickers which you can place on yourself and hope that your fellow commuters are diligent enough to wake you up.
Sadly these stickers so far only exist for the London Underground. But that doesn't mean that you can't jury-rig your own here in Toronto. Why don't you use your Spacing subway button and a cheap sticker or post-it to indicate where you want your wake-up call. Or stick a post-it to your forehead.

When I used to go to school downtown, I used to tape a piece of paper to my backpack asking people to wake me up at Bay if I overslept. Most of the time, my body clock would wake me up in time, but when it didn't, the sign did come in handy.
Stickers, of course, would be much prettier.
Maybe Spacing needs to add a button that says "wake me up at" to their collection so it can be paired with their station buttons. that'd be neat.
Um, anon? That was pretty freaken' brilliant.
Maybe this Torontoist needs to learn to thank the people that tip them off on cool things.
Seriously? Not even a mention or an e-mail thank you?
Ouch.
