Live Baby Live - Week of Oct. 23

Robin Black_7832

There seems to be something for everyone this week, but let's just call it the 'week of The Hip' and be done with it, since they've taken up residence at The Phoenix for four sold out shows. We're curious to know if anyone actually paid $60 + TM charges per ticket to attend all of them? 'Fess up!

If that's not your thing, you can always get spewed on by Gwar tonight at the Opera House. Just don't wear your Sunday best, and try to remember that it's not really blood, urine and other such fluids being thrown on you. For the newbies and/or weaklings in attendance, we recommend bringing rain gear.

Best bets? Frank Black at the Opera House and The Hold Steady at The Horseshoe. Or maybe you can finally meet your Myspace girlfriend at Good Charlotte tomorrow.

Did we miss a show? Let us know what's going on in the comments.

Alexisonfire deserves one show. One free show. Not five consecutive $25 shows. Ick.
