Tie Domi Retires

Tie Domi, the long-time Leafs enforcer turned social butterfly, who was seen at the One X One gala and is rumoured to be dating Belinda Stronach, has just announced his retirement.

The Star asked fans what their favourite Tie Domi memories were, most of them praised his grit and ability to squish opposing players into the boards. The other side of the camp are happy to see him go:

My favourite Tie Domi moment was when I found out he will no longer be playing, taking up space and being a divisive force within the team.

Hmm. Judging from this old Pizza Hut ad, maybe Tie has got a career as shilling products. Or he could join his brother as a computer salesman.
