Live Baby Live - Week of Sept. 4

30 Seconds To Mars_0648

Due to non-existent internet access over the past few days (thanks, Bell!), there is an abridged version of the music listings this week. However, a big week it is, with V-Fest coming to town. The Flaming Lips! The Raconteurs! Wolfmother afros! And keep your eyes on the sky...you never know, you might see Richard Branson descending to earth perched on a flock of birds or something.

As always, if you know of a good show happening this week, we want to hear from you. Leave us a comment with the details.

Yikes. Sucks for the Star, who shoved Massive Attack onto their cover of their V-Fest insert (for some reason).

Funny you should mention the Star:

http://radio3.cbc.ca/blogs/2006/09/Massive-Attack-pulls-out-of-V-Fest

"The Toronto Star is reporting that UK act Massive Attack has had to cancel their appearance at this weekend's first ever V Fest in Toronto. Visas, visas, visas..."
