Toronto International Film Festival 2006: The Only Thing Anyone Cares About

We're only just back from today's TIFFG press conference at Nathan Phillips Square, where (finally) all the films of the festival were announced, and, of course, all the stars who will be attending with their films. We're currently pouring over the press releases to give you a nice round up of what has been announced (stay tuned!) so we'll leave you right now with this nice picture of what to expect from the festival, as we let you know about the only thing anyone cares about:
Brad Pitt is coming.

I just watched Seven, so this is a very Pitt-y day, so far. Now all I want is for Kevin Spacey to come, too.
Hong Sang-soo is coming too
and James McAvoy
Matthew, I think I saw you at the press conference. I'm fully excited about the announcement that Penelope is going to be screened as a gala.
I'm just pissed because I won't be able to attend any of the Special Presentations I wanted to see (Brand Upon The Brain!, The Fountain, Stranger Than Fiction), as they're all in the Visa Screening Room's 6:00 slot, when I'm still working at the box office.
And the Evening With Michael Moore, at which he'll be showing clips from two of his upcoming movies (until this morning's announcement, no one even knew that he was working on two films), is at 9:00 on the first Friday, when I'll also surely be dealing with the backlog in the lineup for tickets.
OMFG Brad Pittttt.
OMFG Lukas Rossssssi!
Oh wait, wrong thread.
How about SHORTBUS?? SHORTBUS!!!!
