Possibly the most important news of the entire festival (yes, even more important than that), the release of the full schedule is the first chance you have to pour over each film in detail and start to work out which films you’re definitely going to catch and in which order – and what films you might just join the rush queue for if you’re passing.
While the programmers’ notes can be glowing to the point of obscuring the true nature of a film, they’re still an invaluable tool in choosing which films to see and which to skip; or at least, to help you try and understand the film after you’ve seen it. Tickets go on sale September 6th, but with luck Torontoist will have the majority of our pre-festival film guide (this year including reviews) up by then!
