Scarborough Ribfest

This past weekend we checked out Scarborough Ribest at Thomson Memorial Park. With 9 ribbers cookin up a storm, there was enough ribs for everyone. A personal favourite was the ribs from Camp 31, who had the most saucy, biggest and sweetest ribs around.
If you want to get out of the city and are hankering for some ribs check out the upcoming ribfests just outside of the city.
- Guelph Ribfest : August 25th- 28th
- Burlington Ribfest : September 2nd – 5th
- Oshawa Ribfest : September 8th – 10th

    I am very sad that no downtown ribfests materialized this summer. Two years ago there was one at the St. Lawrence (along with a great beer tasting event) and last year their was one at the Distillery. This year… nada, unless you want to drive to the burbs. Shame. Summer now officially sucks, bring on the snow…. ;)
