That Sun report is totally bullshit. When you interview students about stuff like this, they lie their asses off. That's why studies that interview grade 9 guys find that 75% of them claim to have had sex, or why people who fill out surveys almost always claim that their family income is above $150,000.

I think I brought knives to high school almost every day I was there. Pocket knives, swiss army knives, exacto knives... some of them were required school supplies. Obviously "gun" is a less ambiguous weapon, but I'm still inclined to agree with David's assessment.
I always brought a swiss army knife - my plan was to file my enemies beyond recognition.
