again, man, not to rag (honestly, i'm not trying to be a dick; i've liked a handful of shots throughout this series), but this is a style shot and nothing else. it really doesn't bear witness to the station. north york centre should make for a much more interesting capture. all i see here are heat lamps that could just as easily be found in any bus station or shopping concourse or transportation tunnel. i guess what i was hoping to see with this series was something said a little more about the station and its relationship with its community. for instance, north york centre is almost overwhelmingly composed of young asian professionals and students. it would have been interesting to see that community represented within the terminal that connects them to the rest of our city.

just a thought.

one more thing - what happened to sheppard?

I did the Sheppard Line just yesterday, and am posting them after I finish the whole Yonge line.

Criticism noted, Oat Globe. I just really liked the blue colour of the station and wanted to draw attention to it. As for a community, how does old folks sound? I was there on a Sunday evening, so there weren't that many young asian professionals/students around.

nice shot.

and i agree, the blues are nice in that station. maybe i just need to recalibrate my shitty monitor here at the office.
