Breaking News: Bomb Threat At St. George Stops Traffic

At around 3:00 this afternoon, a man got into a cab at Bloor and St. George and told the driver he had a bomb. CityNews is reporting that the cabbie fled and alerted authorities. After 90 minutes of negotiations the man was arrested by police. No actual explosive was found at the scene or on the suspect.

    Well… unless a slightly unhinged guy goes into a cab and shouts bomb threats in your city on a regular basis then this would constitute breaking news. Plus how many cars turn left and stop traffic for 90 minutes (timid old ladies from Richmond Hill don’t count)

    I find these people pathetic. There are few people already who seemed to take all this terrorism and bomb threats a joke. Wait if you get blown, let’s see if you will have that smirk on your faces.
