Book City Expands

A reshuffling of stores in the Carrot Common on the Danforth has given Book City an extra room, adding a third as much space again as they had, already filled to overflowing with booky goodness. Now there are two entrances into the best bookstore in this part of town [map / 348 Danforth Ave Tel: 416-469-9997, one minute walk from Chester Subway Station]
Torontoist rejoices.

    Huzzah! I’ve always loved how though there’s only 5 or 6 of these stores in the city, they are so well distributed that most people I know have a chance to pass by one fairly regularly.

    Whomever designed that logo needs to be transported from the 70s to the present, drawn, quartered, tortured, and shot for imposing such an abomination so unironically on society.
