A bizarre shooting has left police scratching their heads. A man and a transvestite were found shot dead in a Scarborough garage. The police aren't sure whether it was a murder or a suicide. Adam Giambrone wants the TTC to have a lobbyist registry in the wake of the Bombardier debacle. Some right wing councillors want the registry to include activist groups as well. To which we point out that activist groups don't have a financial interest in lobbying whereas lobbyists very clearly do.

Commutes are getting longer? No way! Here I thought I was imagining the 20 minute wait for the northbound 72 on Carlaw, or the westbound streetcar on Queen, at 6:30 last night. I eventually gave up on them both, walked to Broadview (where I waited a bit more) and caught *that* street car. Yeesh.
