Having no flickr account, I’ll respond to the photographer’s comment here if I may: Out of all the stations I’ve shot so far, I think that Wilson and Chester tie for least photogenic
Man, I’m with you on Chester (I guess, never looked real close), but Wilson’s one of my favourites… aside from the dreary, sprawling nothingness that surrounds it. So many interesting / unique features… the little round shelters, the weird exit signs by the stairs, (neglected) planters, huge-ass wall sculpture, the partitioned passageway towards the bus terminal…
But I guess “dilapidated retro cool” may not translate to “photogenic”

Well, I also went on this really bleak day after the rain, and it was humid, hot, and ugly outside. So that might’ve contibuted.
But I’ve found that, just in general, it feels very isolated and old (but not in a pretty way). – after all, you’re pretty much in the middle of the highway, but it feels very slow for some reason. “Dilapidated” is a good choice of words, I’d say, to describe the whole thing.
Chester, on the other hand, is just dull and very, very standard as far as TTC stations go.
