The MMVA's Are Sooo Last Week

2006_6_19fallout.jpgHands up: how many of you saw the MMVAs on Sunday? Yeah, didn't think so. Now, some of you might actually be interested in what happened so we give you this blow-by-blow written by the National Post's Aaron Wherry on his blog pop (all love). A few items of interest:

1) VJ Devon was wearing a leotard and pointy shoes
2) Emily Haines is uncomfortable with mass market adoration
3) "Fall Out Boy are apparently considered sex symbols. Is this a sign that society has regressed or evolved? Discuss."

I had no idea Dallas Green was dating Leah.

Terrific roundup at pop, though, I laughed out loud a few times.

Hmm, interesting...I didn't know that Dallas Green and Leah were dating, either. However, I did see her interview him once and thought to myself "she knows him a little too well and is being a little too chummy". This explains everything. Well, except the reason that I was watching MM in the first place. I don't have a valid explanation for that.

Leah and Dallas. I had no idea, but then again, why would I? And it makes perfect sense.

Also, the only part of the show I caught was the portion of the red carpet where the person held up the Paris sign. And it said "Paris Hilton is an Ugly Whore". And the camera man went over it twice. And lingered the 2nd time, before the director cut away. So, yeah, if you see someone on the street with a sign that says "Will Rack Fade for food", give it up, because he/she's homeless FOR YOU. FOR ME. FOR US.

the really REALLY annoying VJ.

someone find VJ-hopeful Nikki (I know she was AT the MMVAs) and get her to replace Leah stat!

hahaha i was being a dick to dallas i butted infront od him at the moviesss lol sorry butt yah i kinda seen this coming lol
