Yesterduh Project Comes To A Close

Last month Torontoist posted about Brian Joseph Davis' Yesterduh project. Tonight, Davis wraps up the project with a CD release party. He's layered 60 individual recordings (Boy Reporter is one of them) of the Lennon-McCartney classic "Yesterday", gathered over a month, into one giant polyphonic Beatles extravaganza. Samples are available here.

Tonight's event will also feature a performance by Vigilante Justice which features members of Pyramid Culture and Ninja High School who'll be performing early '90s techno hits a capella! Now that's a good time. Also Torontoist needs to send happy birthday wishes to former Tall Poppy Interview subject and Wavelength grandpappy Jonny Dovercourt. Word is he'll be in attendance so wish him a happy birthday.

Festivities start at 8:30pm, at Mercer Union, 37 Lisgar St.

just wondering what the opinion of an outsider is on the b.s. politics ruining the Toronto Humane Society. If you visit the website of a fired volunteer you'll see it all. I have been on strike for 14 weeks and suffering with little pay to make it better for the animals with little change. Any suggestions? It's all true and very real!!
