i just took my june ttc monthly metropass money and got a bike this weekend (with a good lock)... best ride to work ever... quasi fresh air, no elbows in the groin, and no waiting...
Pitfield (from the Star) is right:
Pitfield said Miller is "beholden to unions," which she said hampers his ability to deal with labour issues.
"He will not interfere, and that is a huge void of leadership, a big problem, because it empowers the unions," she said.
The Star reports TTC union ordered back to work at 2.30pm but due 3hr lead time service is unlikely before the rush.
Civic elections in the fall - Mayor Hair who hasn't moved TTC forward and Counsellor Pitsfield who needs to get out of her Leaside enclave...(and nothing against the fine citizens of Leaside)
