Toronto Game Jam Games Jammed Online

The Toronto Indie Game Development Jam, a competition to create a video game in three days (!) was held across May 5th-7th, and the results of the competition are now online for your downloading pleasure.

Our favorite is definitely the simple but addictive gameplay of Jonathan Mak’s Bubble Thing, easily comparable to a classic like Asteroids, but the deranged gun heavy Super Hamster Air Combat by Zi-Xiao Liang is good for those looking for an adrenaline boost on a Friday afternoon. Special mentions go to titles like
Team Awesome-O’s Kalashnikitty in OMFG Misslies! and Team Entelechynt’s Heavy Weather for featuring Toronto as the setting, however!

Thanks so much for the coverage! While evaluating our google search ranking, I tried the keywords "game jam" and came across your site. You outranked us! The power of the Torontoist makes me cower in fear.
