Police Break Up Huge Gang, One Sad Orange Cone, Have A Great Long Weekend But Be Careful

The police made over 100 arrests and are expected to lay 1000 (nope, we didn't add an extra digit there) charges in their huge raid on the Jamestown Crew yesterday.

Police Chief Bill Blair wants an investigation on the charges of corruption that have been leveled at the police lately.

Joe Fiorito gives a blow by blow account of the recent St. Lawrence Forum on the City of Toronto act.

2006_5_19cone.jpgThe Star also reports on some plastic cones that have been haunting the Danforth and Bloor. They also post this very sad photo of a cone that has seen better days. Poor cone.

Cops give a thumbs down to cameras in their cars. It seems that we can land a man on the moon, make glow in the dark mice but we can't install working cameras in police cruisers.

Finally, it's almost the long weekend. Have fun but please be careful. We don't want to lose any readers over the weekend.
