Painting In The  Park

By now you've probably heard or seen that the Japanese cherry trees (sakura) in High Park are in full bloom, but if not, there's no time like the present to take a leisurely stroll through the pathways just west of the Grenadier restaurant. They provide the perfect photo op or backdrop for painting...or maybe you just want to relax a little.

Better get your sakura hanami (cherry tree watching) on soon, though, as they won't be in bloom for much longer.

Great shot! The guy painting gives the photo a focal point and puts it over the top. Also, I had no idea we had Japanese trees in Toronto.
