If It Feels Good, YouTube It

We'd like to call this new Sloan video a MySpace sensation, but we know we'll all regret using that phrase very soon. A YouTube sensation? Maybe. It was first posted there in early May. But, you know what, we're re-posting it. So now it's a Torontoist sensation.

Also, just wondering: Besides us, who didn't know that Sloan's "The Other Man" was written about Feist?

Feist? Really had no idea. So much seedy gossip in the Toronto music scene, but where to find it...

PS Tube-tacular.

Yes indeed, it was written about her. I love that funny video. I remember seeing it on TV last summer.

"Guys this is totally real! It's totally happening!!!"

The cracking up during "acting" makes this thing classic.

And yeah, Chris dated Leslie for a number of years before writing thatsong, and god knows he loves to write about himself/wears his heart on his sleeve, so there you have it. A few of his songs on Action Pact were also directed at her (i.e. "Will You Ever Love Me Again?". yeesh.)

Did I miss something?
I want my 1:50 back.

That was terrible.

No idea about Feist, that's extremely cool.

P.S., for the Sloan fans out there, I got some decent shots when the band came to play U of T last fall: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dstopping/tags/sloan

Back to my hole.

That Jay dude must live in my neighbourhood, because I see him around like once a week.

that was totally, totally lame.
