I Am A Wild Party, Tomorrow

Torontoist is telling you to ignore the confusing name for this event and instead focus on the fact that it looks like it'll be a fun and fashionable evening. The Terminus 1525 sponsored I Am A Wild Party is being held at the Toronto Free Gallery tomorrow night which pretty much guarantees that it'll be fun.

But just to ensure this Terminus 1525 is launching two projects at the event. The first is CVP:Trial 2. Fashion designer Clayton Evans sent 13 emerging artists a kit with limited materials and got them to work on pieces over a month. The pieces will be unveiled at the event. The second is the Game Show, an online collaborative illustration and writing collaboration organized by Winnipeg artist Daniel Barrow.

Finally there's also the launch of issue 2 of Worn, a fashion journal that goes beyond pretty photos and models to look at the cultural history of clothing. The first issue contained articles on the history of pinstripes and why those recommended washing instructions are full of lies!
