I think this will show people of Toronto how dirty and the much work is needed to be done on the TTC. It’s time to invest more cash flow into transit. It’s really starting to fall apart. Do we really want our transit system looking like NYC’s system? I think not.
Take some shots of the dirtiest parts of the TTC system and show us what needs to be done. LOL
hey, don't even try comparing the ttc to the MTA. the MTA runs all day, every day, hundreds of miles of track, express and regular trains, millions of people, modern trains, it's cheaper, it's clean and the merchandising is spectacular, jonny you do not know what you're talking about -- you want action? start a straphanger's association on toronto
Honestly, I'd love it if we had the NYC transit system here in T.O. (for all the reasons Rocco listed above).
I think the problem, when it comes to TTC planning and development, is that we have too many number-crunchers on board, not enough visionaries.
/two cents
The MTA isn't exactly the cleanest place in the world. The subway cars are decent, but the platforms are wayyy dirtier - and way hotter and humid - than the TTC's.
Anyway, as for your suggestion, Jonny, whatever comes out of the project will be up for the rest of you to judge. I don't want to go in with any platform or goal in mind - I just want to photograph each station.
Platforms and subway cars aside, I really dig your project David. I'm looking forward to the rest.
