Firstly, Wireless Toronto would love to invite all you marvellous Toronto internet-users to come on out to their one-year Anniversary Party. WT is really pleased to be able to celebrate one year of spreading free, community-based wireless internet across the city, and they’re doing so with cake and other fun suprises on Thursday May 25th, at one of the newest hotspots, the Rustic Cosmo Cafe on Queen West. At the party, sexy sexy one-inch buttons will be available, as will limited edition wireless toronto tshirts, and, of course, snacks and cheap drinks.

2 days after the party, head on over to Dufferin Grove park to help Wireless Toronto launch the newest hotspot–the park itself. Spend spring outside, working under a tree, or using internet radio to make yoru picnics better. Presented with the help of Kijiji, this is the largest outdoor hostpot in Toronto. The weekend will be full of all sorts of great activities, come out to the park on Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th to participate (follow the orange balloons) in the launch events. Even if you can’t make it, the park and its wifi are there for you to use.
