Water Main Mayhem, City Hall Antics and Cops Won't Build More Fences

2006_4_27watermain.jpgThe water main that burst yesterday on Sheppard Avenue caused a huge sinkhole that'll probably take weeks to repair. The Star's story is here and the Sun also has their story here.

A brave 10-year old boy tried to defend his mom from her killer, jumping on the man's back and trying to disarm him. Sadly he was unsuccessful.

If you think City Hall is an august and serious place, think again. What really raised our eyebrows was the use of the word "catfight" by councillor Feldman, would he have used it in reference to two male councillors?

Police are noticing that no-one's wearing their seat belts.

A homeless man allegedly assaulted councillor Michael Walker outside of City Hall.

Cops listen to public outcry and will no longer build big fences around police stations. No word on what they'll spend the money on instead.
