Pinball a Politician?, Fishy Friday and the Russo Saga
The media continues its non-stop coverage of the Louise Russo settlement. The Star, commenting on the gangland ties of the shooters, calls it a “glimpse into the underworld.” It’s no big surprise, but the Sun’s Michele Mandel feels that Russo’s suffering convinced her that the cash settlement is ok and justified. The Globe weighs in here and comments on the terrible optics that the settlement does on the justice system and the sentencing of the men who shot Russo.

Torontoist is not Catholic but we can totally go for fish and chips too but maybe not tommorow. Devout Catholics apparently generate a spike in business among fish fryers.
