That tricycle has actually been there for a long time, at least over a year. You can probably also spot a bunch of used-up sparklers that my friends and I tossed over there.
I don't think it was thrown out. It looks like the tricycle was shot while trying to escape.
Hee, that picture looks like the cover for some bleak Canadian collection of short stories.
Reminds me of the scene near the beginning of the latest "Dawn of the Dead", where Ving Rhames and Sarah Polley are slowly making their way to the mall, and walk through the playground where nefarious things have obviously occured.
i coudl've sworn that tricycle was infront of my building at Perth and Wallace this morning... it was just abandoned on the sidewalk at 7 in the morning.
