Our intrepid shutterbug David caught the chaos at Yonge and Bloor earlier this afternoon. As of this evening police are indicating that the blast was caused by gasoline which explains why the man died of what appears to be severe burns.

How come everyone is still reporting this as an "explosion" even as they reveal that it was actually just a guy lighting himself on fire? Makes for a better headline, I guess.
CBC Radio is calling it a "bathroom explosion".
