Mayor Miller in Vanity Fair's Green Issue

2006_4_12millervf.jpg

2006_4_12vfcover.jpgMayor Miller and Toronto get it right according to Vanity Fair, he gets it so right that the mag saw fit to include him in their Green Issue portfolio. He shares the page with the mayors of San Francisco, Seattle, Baltimore, Chicago and Miami. The spread also means that Miller shares the pages of VF with celebrities like Edward Norton, Bette Midler and cover boys and girls George Clooney and Julia Roberts.

Torontoist would also like to point out that green bloggers are hot! You know who you are, uhm, call us.

i heard on Metro Morning yesterday some news about how that photo was doctored -- Miller wasn't shot with palm trees and they spliced him (and maybe the other mayors, too) into the scene. not that that takes away from his place among the green, but still, worth noting.

Yeah... there's no location info on the photo credit, the other photos had them which makes me suspect that something is afoot.

yep, the millster is photoshopped in! looks like a good job too...

duzooming it in and looking carefully, i would suspect the rest have been added as well.

Is that really notable? I did read in an article on this that some mayors weren't able to make it to the location shoot, and Miller was photographed in a New York studio.

If it's a photo, and it's in a magazine, assume it's photoshopped.

i was at the photoshoot...

it was in miami, and daley, o'malley, and diaz were actually there. other folks photoshopped in.
