Dear Internet Users of Toronto,
You will all be pleased to know that the newest hotspot in the Wireless Toronto network has been launched at the Rustic Cosmo Cafe at 1278 Queen West (see map).
Since the announcement of the Toronto Hydro Wireless Plan the folks at Wireless Toronto have been keeping a blog with all sorts of news and commentary on the plan, its effects, and how other cities have been dealing with ubiquitous/municipal wifi. So if you’re interested in what the Toronto Hydro Plan is really about, and want to know what Wireless Toronto (a volunteer group of folks dedicated to spreading free wifi around the city, especially in public places, to build community in interesting and innovative ways) is doing and thinking in response, head on over and check it out.
