Bloor St. Explosion Kills One

An explosion at a Tim Hortons near Yonge and Bloor killed a man early this afternoon. The explosion apparently occured in the bathroom at the back of the store. The police evacuated a one block area and another Tim Hortons at Yonge and Lawrence later in the afternoon after rumours of a suspicious package.

The Globe is reporting rumours that the dead man might have had explosives strapped to his body. Everyone is holding tight and waiting for the bomb squad to give the all clear. No employees were injured in the blast reports CTV. Needless to say the traffic in the area is absolutely bonkers.
