Everybody Remember Where We Parked

Because this map makes it look like OCAD is being turned into a theme park. Well, that's probably only half-true. Tommorow, first year interaction students at the art school are turning the area underneath Will Alsop's tabletop into a giant showcase of their work which includes things like:

• Interactive graffiti walls
• communal music making
• radio-controlled homage to Pimp My Ride
• human statues
• a food fight
• a peepshow in the park
• a piñata in the park
• paint hockey
• giant movable cubes
• a Toronto memory map
• a race with a "randomizer"
• giant toys

Tommorow 3:00-6:00 at OCAD. This sounds like way too much fun but we're sad that this'll only be going for three hours. The group blog for the Principles of Interaction design class at OCAD also has some interesting observations on parks in Toronto and elsewhere.

I admit to have been pessimistic at first, but some of the stuff has turned out to be quite good. Be sure to check out the Big Bang section. We'll probably be the loudest (not in a drum circle way, but instruments made out of garbage.) :D
