Torontoist visited Activate The Park! the group "exhibition" by first year OCAD Interaction Design students. First of all, we have to say we love maps!

Especially when they have detailing like this. The typo is what makes it charming, that and the cute little cars driving on the Gardiner.

Oooh, how ironic, an anti-graffiti tag on a graffiti wall.

A neat little piece of bike-art/noisemaker.

"Kick my ride." This game is much harder than it looks.

Look it's Dollarama's new rhythm section!

i was there :D judging by the length of the shadows, though, you were there later than I

Oh wow - was that an interactive map? like, ppl got to add stuff? Do you know who's got it now?

The students carted away all their own stuff -- part of the mandate was to build things that were reusable or recyclable. So, somebody from that particular class has it.

XD I'm one of the students from the Activate the Park day. It was pretty insane there that day.

Should have tried to take a picture of the food fight =P That was pretty gross and entertaining al at the same time (and no..that's not my class' project).

Cheers

That was so much fun. It's times like those that make me love my school.
