Why Go Outside When We've Got Links

My fellow blog readers the state of our blogosphere is HUGE. So huge in fact that according to Technorati there are more than 27 millionblogs. 26 million of them are probably receiving comment spam. But we are under the constant apocalyptic threat of corporations undermining our beautiful information highway....

In other news, Torontoist is surprised that Don Cherry hasn't weighed in and made a fool of himself over recommendations to ban checking in children's hockey. Especially considering the little tidbit about Quebec leagues not allowing kids to slam the fragile bodies of their peers into the boards.

With Valentine's Day a week away it's good to know that the weeks right before is the worst time for breakups! Torontoist is also wondering up whether Pepper Schwartz was burnt once as he she gives this cold-hearted quote " "I think what it speaks to is that romance has its practical and even Machiavellian and manipulative nature."

Finally, Torontoist wants to welcome the TTC's newest rider. We think Spacing should send him a Wellesley station button.

Nice cheap shot on Cherry... but it shows what you don't know. He's very supportive of measures to protect kids in hockey, even the professionals - especially checking from behind and high sticking.

Psst. Pepper Schwartz is a 'she'. ;)
