Spacing Magazine, the Movie?

2006_2_27spacing.jpg

Ok, the headline is a little misleading. Spacing isn't being turned into a blockbuster Hollywood film. We think the magazine would be better suited as a Canadian indie production that becomes a sleeper hit, and wonder who'd play Shawn Micallef and Matt Blackett?. But Torontoist digresses.

The Spacing Magazine crew is actually putting on Public Space Invaders, a night of short films about the streets, alleyways, parks and squares we call home. Doors start at 7:00pm (films 7:20) at the Drake Underground ($5-10 sliding scale) followed by DJs and Drake Juice upstairs.

Thanks for giving us a few days notice... oh wait, it's tonight. Oh well, I'm sure it would have been fun.

it's been listed in the side column for a spell. the whole pt is to write about what's going on today in the middle bit, no?

I don't have the *time* to read a *calendar*! And I'm not about to click every event name to see what it is.

Whoa! How do you negotiate life?

I think Jack Black would play Matt B. And Woody harrleson would play Micallef.
