Read for the stars

We stopped by our local branch of the Toronto Public Library this morning to keep ourselves, nay, all of Toronto reading.

From being able to order books online from any branch and pick them up locally, to the nerdy pick-up joint that is the reference library, it warms our heart and fills us with pride to know that wherever we are, whoever we may be, the TPL is standing by, just waiting to fulfil our lusty book-lovin' needs.

Our SOP of returning books late and paying fines almost single handedly keeps Toronto reading year-round but Keep Toronto Reading is only on until the end of February. A $2 donation earns you a spot on the wall beside Big Daddy Portugal, a handy bookmark and a bunch of coupons for movies and fast food. Please wipe the grease from your hands before handling any library materials.

Ooo, thanks for reminding me Jill! :) Gotta keep Toronto Reading.

Ooh, thanks for the reminder. Made my donation (all the loose change I had; probably about five bucks, woo).
