Frankly, Stein's a monster of a performer. Ouch, I know, but I just couldn't let that one go to waste. And it's meant as a compliment.
She has this ultra-intense steely gaze which she pairs with a somewhat disturbing grin when she plays. And, yes, her fingers bleed.
Although it gets close, Josh's haiku doesn't quite capture how great a show this was. Baby Eagle (Steve from The Constantines) played a fantastic set just before Stein.
i left before she hit the stage, and i really don't remember why. damn drunken nights. i really missed out!
