it's almost as exciting as a 100 year old's birthday segment on the local news.
Damn Loblaws. They're always out of SOMEthing. I bet it was the one at Christie and Dupont, right? I hate that one. And their produce sucks too.
you are so right. that loblaws is lame, in fact most loblaws are sucking now, even stupid lower jarvis. what happened, mr. president? no-frills is where it's at
There is actually an egg-placing debate going on at Loblaws. Some Loblaws like to keep things real by putting the eggs in the dairy section. Makes sense, right? But then there are some maverick Loblaws that have started to put the eggs with the bacon, creating some sort of breakfast super aisle or something. Christie/Dupont = Maverick, while St. Claire/ Bathurst = Traditional.
Other supermarket shelving debates:
1. Bread crumbs-- do they belong with sliced bread or with the baking supplies? Loblaws seems to think it belongs with the bread. I think the good people at Loblaws have been taking crazy pills.
2. And for the Front Street Dominion-- toilet paper kept in the pharmacy area with the facial tissues and diapers, separate from the paper towels which are kept with the cleaning supplies.
What makes them think they have the authority to challenge the supermarket shelving system?
